La Joya ISD is considered to be one of the fast growing school districts in Texas; the new 340,000-SF high school campus is part of a bond program aimed to reduce classroom overcrowding.

Constructing the project

La Joya ISD is considered to be one of the fast growing school districts in Texas; the new 340,000-SF high school campus is part of a bond program aimed to reduce classroom overcrowding.

La Joya high school includes four new buildings and a central plant. The main building is a two-story masonry and steel structure designed for administrative offices, science labs, classrooms and the library. The remaining three buildings are one-story and will include space for a cafetorium, theatrical department, band/orchestra, choir, mariachi practice studio, art and vocational departments, gymnasiums and athletic training facilities.
