The 240,000-SF building featured 165,600-SF of the production facility including administration, packaging, cGMP warehouse/storage, document and refrigerated storage, process suites and production, shipping/receiving, label control areas, and 74,400-SF of administrative offices and IT server and communications areas. Laboratory support and equipment includes chemical fume hoods, cold rooms, filtration equipment, fume hoods and a Laminar flow ceiling system. The manufacturing portion of the project included areas for biotech clinical trials, bulk material staging, GMP areas and packaging lines. The site development of Phase 1 included new roadways, storm water retention/management system, on-grade parking, site utility infrastructure and landscaping/hardscaping. The project team worked 479,000 man-hours with no lost time injuries.
