Sustainability and green
The bridge is 285 meter long and linked to the island of Sandøya - at the Municipality of Gulen (West coast).
The bridge consists of two spans, 30 and 35 meters, and one main span 220 meter. The main span is constructed as a networkbridge with a steel construction girder. The concrete pavement is fitted by the help of cantilevered cables.
The main span is produced at Sløvåg, and freighted by two barge cranes to the project for installation.
