Skanska supports the victims of the red sludge in Hungary

Skanska has decided to make a contribution to the victims of the red sludge accident in Hungary. A donation of €10 000 will be made through the Hungarian Relief Fund. Care for people and the environment is essential for Skanska and its employees in Hungary as well as globally. – We are deeply concerned about the tragic event and it’s therefore natural for Skanska and our employees to support the Hungarian society and the people in need in a situation like this, says Andreas Lindelöf, managing director of Skanska Property Hungary.

Being an investor in Hungary, Skanska wants to make a contribution for the affected people. Concern for people and the environment is a corner stone in Skanska’s common value base.

– We are convinced that the Hungarian people and authorities will do their utmost to minimize the effects and we hope that our humble contribution will help in this, says Andreas Lindelöf. Skanska Property Hungary is a part of Skanska Commercial Development Europe, one out of 14 business units within Skanska.
