“I would like to extend my appreciation for the excellent work done by our enthusiastic, committed and professional team of Skanska Hungary. Mill Park is developed by people, for people. And what else can be nicer in this continuously changing workplaces approach that encouraging employees to have a flexible perspective about their working environment? One of the main elements of the project is the 5 500 sqm garden. It shapes a beautiful and relaxing scenery, providing people working here a lot of out of the box options to do their job in a more innovative and productive setting.” - said Marcin Łapiński, Managing Director of Skanska Property Hungary.

All aspects of the building have been designed to meet the needs of the continuously changing way of working. One of the core principles on the philosophy and the design of the building is about human focus. To provide a nice breakout area to relax, have an informal catch up with a colleague or just bring the outdoors into a working day, a spacious multifunctional green courtyard awaits for building users and provides gathering areas as well as workspaces with plug-ins and WiFi. The spacious green area also offers an outside gym, table tennis, table football and swings. Facilities for those coming to work by bicycles – such as bike storage, showers and lockers – are also provided.

We developed an all-in-one integrated operating system for office buildings, Connected by Skanska, bringing services to the fingertips of tenants employees. They can use the mobile app to share the ride to or from the office, check real time public transportation information. The app also supports the creation of a community with a social feed. In Hungary, Connected by Skanska will be launched in the Mill Park office complex in autumn.

Skanska sold Mill Park office project to Erste Real Estate Fund in August 2018. This was the second acquisition from Skanska in Budapest that the purchaser has made following the Nordic Light transaction in 2016.
