A tool has been developed to support development of safety in the organization - the Skanska Safety Road Map. It was launched in 2011 to inspire and support management teams across Skanska to meet their safety milestones. Work include annual reviews on performance and progress.
The Safety Road Map focuses on five key areas of development:
- Safety Culture
- Improving safety competency through development and education programs
- Communication of safety issues throughout Skanska
- Implementing Controls through management systems
- Leadership and engagement with our Contractors
