The R3 expressway Oravsky Podzamok - Horna Lehota
The R3 expressway is part of the European route E77 within the corridor Hungary - Poland. The project objective was to resolve the unsatisfactory condition of the traffic in the village Oravský Podzámok and to construct a road ensuring unconstrained and safe traffic.
The main structure of the project was the R3 expressway proposed to design speed 80 km/h - 6,441 km. There are 9 bdriges, dominating is the 14-span plate-girder prestressed bridge over the river Orava and the railway. There are 10 abutment and retaining walls.
