Skanska provided preconstruction and construction management services on one of Nashvilles largest single mixed-use developments at Fifth and Broadway. The project consisted of demolition of the outdated Nashville Convention Center; new construction of 235,000-SF of retail and entertainment; 25-story, 385,000-SF of Class-A office; 34-story residential tower with over 386 units; and more than 2,000 parking spaces. Largely due to an increase in tourism over the last few years, Fifth + Broadway fulfilled downtown Nashville's extensive need for additional retail and entertainment space. This project elevated Music City's brand by delivering a first-of-its-kind National Museum of African American Music in the heart of downtown. In addition, the office space is targeting LEED Silver certification and offers tenants access to a 20,000-SF rooftop overlooking the city.
