Program management services for a 56,000-SF, two building complex in Savannah, Georgia. Skanska, in association with IGPM and The Carson Company, provided construction phase program management services to the Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) for various projects including renovations and additions to the Downtown Intermodal Transit Facility and renovations and additions to the CAT Operations and Maintenance Facility.
First a 10,832-SF Downtown Intermodal Transit Facility featuring four separate bays for Greyhound buses; a location for steel-wheel streetcars; a covered transfer platform; climate-controlled areas; executive office and operations. The second
building a 45,253-SF operations and maintenance facility features new bus wash, fueling facilities, upgraded passenger and customer service area, and upgraded maintenance facilities. Facility was designed to LEED Silver standards.
